It is specially designed with a high rise head to keep Tele Vue Barlows away from the diagonal mirror.In addition the Equalizer is made from heavy solid bronze. This adds 12 ounces to help equalize the weight when switching from heavy 2" eyepieces to light 1.25" eyepieces.
